Bauer Media Outdoor publishes ESG Report 2025

As Bauer Media Outdoor, we published our 2025 ESG Report. 2025 was marked by change since we joined Bauer Media Group. In the report, we show what we do for the environment, for our people and for the world around us. This is how we make visible what we stand for as Platform for Brands and Platform for Good.

Environmental impact

We work every day to reduce our environmental impact step by step. We are following a clear plan towards Carbon Net Zero and will continue to invest in green energy, energy-efficient solutions and materials that reduce CO₂ emissions.

Smart innovation plays an important role in this. With our Revive program, we are refurbishing bus stops and using them again. This ensures fewer emissions and a longer lifespan of our street furniture.

Nature and biodiversity are also getting more and more attention. We do this with sedum roofs and tiles, among other things. This is how we help municipalities to better deal with the changing climate.

Attention to our people

In 2025, we will have placed even more emphasis on what really matters: the safety, well-being and development of our people. Our operational teams received targeted training and are now working with practical safety standards.

With new initiatives in the field of well-being and additional programs that support this, we are committed to the mental and physical health of colleagues.

In addition, we are consciously looking at the long term. We invest in good leadership programs, local growth opportunities and an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome. This is reflected in the high scores on engagement and inclusion.

Social initiatives

We actively work with partners who are committed to the environment and society. We offer media space to sustainable initiatives so that they can make their message visible to a wide audience.

In addition, we invest in environmental projects that make a real difference and support non-profit organizations that are committed to a more sustainable world. A good example of this is the collaboration with artist Nico Tomacruz; in his studio, he turned old posters into colorful works of art.

Focus on compliance

We take good and transparent governance seriously. That means: clear responsibilities and a solid framework for managing risks. This is how we stay focused on compliance with rules, careful selection of suppliers and responsible use of data.

We are actively preparing for changing laws and regulations, such as the CSRD. Privacy and strong cybersecurity are not extras, but integral parts of how we work in all countries where we operate.

Looking ahead

2025 was a year in which we took important steps and laid a firm foundation for further, responsible growth.

In the coming years, we will continue to focus on sustainable innovation, more social impact and high standards of good governance.
