A legend returns: Harrison Ford as Indy

For the very last time, Harrison Ford, now 80, is stepping into the shoes of the iconic Indiana Jones. The long-awaited blockbuster Dial of Destiny heralds the finale of one of the most beloved film franchises ever. To bring this release great attention, Disney, Publicis Groupe and Bauer Media Outdoor joined forces for a special OOH campaign. And it was given an extra adventurous touch in Maastricht.

A bus stop as an experience at Het Vrijthof

In the heart of Maastricht, on the iconic Vrijthof square, a bus stop was transformed into a true film experience. With a full wrap, this bus shelter was given a complete metamorphosis in the recognisable Indiana Jones style - weathered leather, old maps and mysterious artefacts. The highlight? A book in the middle of the bus stop, bearing the inviting question: "Will you join us on an adventure?" Upon opening the book, visitors were surprised with a lenticular - showing both young and older Indy - and the classic Indiana Jones soundtrack playing.

Adshel campaign nationwide

In addition to this unique, physical activation, a nationwide campaign also ran on the Adshel network. This maximised the reach and gave the campaign visibility in dozens of municipalities throughout the Netherlands. This combination of national coverage and local experience perfectly demonstrates how creativity and scalability go hand in hand within our OOH portfolio.

OOH as a film trailer tool: storytelling in public space

With this campaign, Disney and Publicis underline how powerful out of home can be as a medium for storytelling and activation. A well-placed and thoughtfully designed bus shelter turns from an advertising spot into a mini experience - something you don't easily forget. And that is exactly what Dial of Destiny deserves: an adventurous ode to a legend.
