Bauer Media completes Clear Channel Europe-North acquisition
Major acquisition in out of home sector
On 1 April 2025, Bauer Media Group announced the completion of its acquisition of Clear Channel Europe-North ("Clear Channel Europe"), a major player in the Out of Home ("OOH") media sector.
A strategic addition to Audio and Publishing
This move follows obtaining all necessary approvals and meeting all regulatory conditions. With this acquisition, Bauer Media is taking an important step in its strategy by strengthening its core media business and exploiting new digital opportunities.
Under the name Bauer Media Outdoor, the company adds outdoor advertising to Bauer Media's portfolio - a strong strategic addition to its existing Audio and Publishing divisions.
Expanded reach of Bauer Media
The acquisition underlines Bauer Media's commitment to delivering powerful media experiences and driving innovation within the industry. Advertisers and clients will benefit from Bauer Media's expanded offering and extended reach, with 200 magazine brands, 150 audio brands and 110,000 OOH locations.
