

Maggi attracts attention with playful Saucy Noodles campaign

MAGGI, part of Nestlé, brought their new Saucy Noodles to life in a tasty way with an eye-catching out-of-home campaign. At 20 strategic locations throughout the Netherlands, consumers were surprised by creative 2D panels that whetted the appetite and reinforced the brand message. The objects showed a hand with chopsticks protruding above the screen, as if the noodles were plucked straight from the ad.
Smart placement close to supermarkets
The locations for the campaign were carefully chosen. All the expressions were placed within 100 metres of supermarkets - exactly when consumers were thinking about shopping and making purchase decisions. The central message was clear: Saucy Noodles are quick, easy and ideal for busy evenings. As such, the campaign perfectly matched shoppers' daily routines and needs.
OOH that tastes like more
With this campaign, Nestlé proved once again that a combination of creative design, strategic location choice and strong visual impact leads to effective outdoor advertising. By using 2D elements, the standard panel was transformed into a little experience - and that sticks. Because who can resist such a delicious, steaming bowl of noodles when you are just about to go shopping? The campaign was created in collaboration with Mindshare and GroupM Nexus, and shows how teamwork between brand, media agency and operator can lead to a perfectly executed and targeted activation.
