HORNBACH encourages biodiversity with OOH campaign
A green message in spring
For its spring campaign, HORNBACH brought to life a powerful message: "Let nature take its course!" The construction and garden retailer chose a special form of outdoor advertising by transforming Utrecht Vredenburg bus stop into a lush plant paradise. The bus stop was completely lined with greenery, flowers and natural elements.
Creativity and impact with Out of Home
This special is a textbook example of how Out of Hhme (OOH) can be more than visibility. HORNBACH combined creativity with sustainability and showed that outdoor advertising can also literally contribute to a greener city. This activation not only attracted the attention of passers-by, but also created awareness about the value of biodiversity - exactly what the campaign aimed for.
Platform for Brands and Platform for Good
The campaign fits seamlessly into Bauer Media Outdoor's mission as Platform for Brands and Platform for Good. After the campaign, all plants were given a new home: they were donated to the Salvation Army Utrecht, where they now contribute to a more pleasant living environment.
