NextGen is always online, but hard to reach through traditional media. Schools are an exception: young people spend 4.5 to 6.5 hours a day here in a familiar, low-stimulus environment. This makes school the perfect place for impactful OOH advertising that cannot be skipped.

National reach in school context
NextGen Media can be found at more than 300 educational locations throughout the Netherlands. With 245+ digital screens, we reach 86 million contacts every month (100% SOV). The screens are located in strategic places such as auditoriums, canteens and central halls. In addition, our network consists of 1,450 analogue boxes.

The new generation
The new generation consumes media differently from previous generations. They are always online, but traditional channels are reaching them less and less. Adblockers, streaming services and a fragmented social media landscape make it difficult to capture their attention. Schools are an exception: here, young people can focus entirely on one thing. OOH advertising in schools is therefore powerful, familiar and - perhaps most importantly - non-skippable.

Telephone ban in schools = maximum visibility
Since 1 January 2024, there has been a phone ban in many Dutch schools. Students are not allowed to use their phones in class, and sometimes not even in the whole building. As a result, social media, banners and apps disappear completely from view. Our screens remain visible as the only visual stimuli, so your message gets full attention. In this controlled, distraction-free environment, your campaign comes across more powerful and reliable than ever.
Video as an attention booster
Moving images not only grab attention, they also hold it. Our screens support full-motion content such as videos, animations and dynamic visuals. You can directly relay video content from platforms like TikTok or Snapchat - without adjustments, as our screens have the same aspect ratio.

Bol activated young people with an interactive DOOH campaign in schools, fully tailored to their lifestyles. Via touchscreens, students voted daily on humorous Bol-style dilemmas based on recognisable TikTok content. The campaign ensured high engagement and consistent brand recognition.
